Doza - Sleep disorder management app
Bridging the gap between lived experience and medical care for people with narcolepsy and other sleep disorders. Doza is the tracking and sleep management tool that doesn't exist yet but desperately needs to.

Project Overview
The Problem:
People with sleep disorders face a double challenge: the lengthy road to diagnosis requires detailed symptom documentation, yet there's no tool designed for their needs. Existing sleep trackers rely on wearable devices and algorithms built for neurotypical sleep patterns—making them useless for people with narcolepsy, sleep apnea, and other conditions. Even after diagnosis, there's no comprehensive solution for day-to-day symptom management and pattern tracking.
My Solution:
Doza is a sleep health app designed primarily for people with sleep disorders, but built to be useful for anyone looking to improve their sleep. It enables detailed symptom logging, provides emergency support features, and creates shareable medical documentation, all without relying on wearables that don't work for this community.
Key Features:
Voice-first logging for accessibility during symptoms
Sleep attack and cataplexy episode tracking with severity-based emergency alerts
Nap scheduling, timers, and trigger identification
Dream journaling and pattern insights
Exportable reports for medical appointments
Customizable dashboard // users can enable only the features you need
Why I'm Building This:
As someone with narcolepsy, I experienced firsthand how difficult it is to track symptoms and manage daily life with an invisible sleep disorder. Doza is the tool I wish I'd had years ago- for diagnosis, ongoing lifestyle management, and everything in between. While it's designed with people with narcolepsy in mind, the features are valuable for anyone invested in better sleep health.
